There will be a meeting of the Complete Count Committee for the City of Headland on Tuesday, March 23rd at 6:00pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall, Headland, Alabama.  The Complete Count Committee is organized to promote our efforts for citizens to complete and return their 2010 U.S. Census forms promptly in order to get an accurate count for the population of Headland.  Over $400 billion in federal aid is distributed each year through grants and population figures determine which grants as well as the amount of grants that can be applied for by a city.  In addition, national, state and local political districts are drawn up based on population.  This is an important year for our city so please participate.  The meeting is open to the public.
