Tired of the same old trick or treating. Halloween is back as the City of Headland and the Headland Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2nd “Halloween Scream” on the Town Square Saturday, Oct.30th from 6-9 p.m.

What is Halloween Scream?: Hayrides for all ages, A GREAT Haunted House, Dance Contest, Costume Contest, Games, Inflatables & of course CANDY!

Why Halloween Scream?: This provides a SAFE and FUN atmosphere for all of our little goblins to trick-or-treat. The event will be held on the "night of trick-or-treat" and is a great way for everyone to see all the costumes and fellowship in one area...downtown Headland! We will all be under the wathful eye of the Headland Police Department and the roadways will blocked off for safety.

What can your do?: Set up as a Trick-or-Treat Station and hand out candy, just as you would at your own doorstep to all the visiting characters. OR Set up a simple Game Station and allow the children to come by and spend a few minutes with you. (example: bean bag toss, go fish or apple bob)

Where do you set-up?: We are asking all businesses to please set-up along the inside sidewalks of the square, PARKSIDE ONLY. This is a little different from last year, due to the sidewalk project. In the grassy areas of the park will be the inflatables and dance contest. Other than that...use your imagination & lets get creative!

Why should we get involved?: You could make this a GREAT EVENT for EVERYONE in town! Take this opportunity to break free from your office walls and have a little fun. Halloween provides the perfect excuse for everyone to be a kid! This can be a fun way to get your business involved and meet more people in Headland. Remember...this could be a great networking tool for your business.
