The library is currently equipped with 5 public access computers which all have internet capabilities and 2 have word processing. Patrons with laptops can also access the internet at the library through the library’s wireless network. We are in the process of creating a history room which will have a computer with internet capabilities. Library cards are available to any person who lives, works, or attends school in Henry County. All minors must have a parent to sign their library card. Books, Audios, CD’s, videos, and DVD’s may be borrowed for a period of two weeks. Renewals may be made over the telephone or by visiting the library. Books that have a waiting list may not be renewed. Fines for overdue books accrue at a rate of 5 cents per day, per book. Charges do not apply to days that the Library is closed – weekends and holidays. You may not use the computers or check out more items if your account is not paid in full. The library has many special programs throughout the year. All special events will be advertised in the local newspapers and at the library. Books given in honor or in memory of a friend or relative may be arranged by calling or visiting the library. We will acknowledge donations and bequests with a donor card, if requested. Gifts and donations are tax deductible. Please ask the library for more details
