  Azalea Court is an assisted living home operated by the Henry County Health Care Authority. This luxuriously comfortable home has sixteen completely furnished rooms, a large living room, a den and a cozy sun porch all within bright yet relaxing decor.  This is a daily carefree living at its best; residents are provided transportation to doctor's appointments and weekly shopping trips. Azalea Court residents have private telephone jacks, cable television and the security of an emergency call button which is monitored by the staff on duty twenty-four hours a day.
 Azalea Court is planned so that each of the residents has an active and safe life-style. Residents may come and go as if they were in their own home. Having freedom from house and yard maintenance chores, they may pursue hobbies and social engagements. At Azalea Court life is lived on the sunny side where burdens are light and hearts are happy.

City of Headland Fire Rescue (HFR) operates three fire engines, 1 command vehicle, 1 service truck, 1 air and tight truck, and 2 Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances. HFR has an average of 500 calls per year. The average response time to the scene of these calls is 2 minutes. The City of Headland ISO rating is 7/9 split.
