Music South
Music South, originally the South Alabama Symphony Association, or SASA, was formed in 1979. The primary goal of the Association is to provide the Wiregrass community with quality cultural and educational musical experiences for area children and adults. Since 1979, the South Alabama Symphony Association has evolved, from strictly presenting symphony concerts to featuring a wide range of quality musical performances, from symphony and jazz to Music By Moonlight at Landmark Park. As the Association evolved, it was felt a new name would better represent its broader mission. In 2000, the Association name was changed to Music South. |
