South Alabama Speedway is a 4/10 mile paved oval located between Opp and Kinston, Alabama. The facility opened on June 9th 1973 under the name Twin Cities Speedway. It was intended to be a 1/2 mile oval, but came out at 4/10. The track was renamed South Alabama Speedway in 1978. It has also been known as South Alabama Motor Speedway.
The list of drivers that have competed at the banked oval include some of the legends of NASCAR - Bobby, Donnie and Davey Allison, Neil Bonnett, David Pearson, Pete Hamilton, Rusty Wallace, Darrell Waltrip and Red Farmer.
