THE NUTCRACKER Fri, December 2, 12am – Mon, December 5, 12am, Dothan Civic Center Dec. 10 - 11, Enterprise Performing Arts Center
SEADAC will present our creation of this timeless ballet based on the story "The Nutcracker and the King of Mice" written by E.T.A. Hoffman. Although what is seen on the stage today is different in detail from the original story, the basic plot remains the same; The story of a young German girl who dreams of a Nutcracker Prince and a fierce battle against a Mouse King with seven heads.

CHRISTMAS IN THE WIREGRASS CONCERT Tri-State Community Orchestra 1st Saturday or Sunday in December, 7:00 pm Dothan Opera House
The Tri-State Community Orchestra conducts a 'Christmas in the Wiregrass' concert each December featuring guest conductors as well as other activities by various organizations including the Dothan Wiregrass Art League and chorus from local colleges.

VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS December 9, 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Landmark Park, Dothan, AL
Holiday open house. Sample turn-of-the-century desserts, sip hot chocolate or mulled cider and try your hand at making traditional Christmas decorations. A circuit-riding preacher will deliver a Christmas message at the church.

HEADLAND CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL Usually 2nd Saturday in December, 11:00am (but sometimes early evening - check website)
The Headland Chamber of Commerce, City of Headland and area organizations sponsors a Christmas Concert, Christmas Tree Lighting and a Christmas Parade around the middle of each December on the Town Square in Headland. Many area citizens brings their lawn chairs to enjoy the beautiful Christmas music and watch the parade. Kids come for Santa!
