New Payment System For Customers
City of Headland will be upgrading its online payment software to Paystar.
MAIN CHANGES FOR CUSTOMERS
● The new online payment system provides for greater online capabilities. Customers
utilizing the online platform can self-sign-up for email and text notifications for bills,
payment reminders, etc. Customers must sign-up for the notifications; this will not be
automatic.
● To continue protecting citizens’ information, those who are currently signed up for
recurring automatic payments though PayClix, will have to sign up again within the new
system (Paystar). The City of Headland apologizes for this inconvenience but asks for
customers’ understanding and patience during this transition.
● Bills will still be mailed, and customers will continue to have the ability to opt-out of
paper bills, view bills online, and receive emailed bills. Customers who have opted in for
emailed bills will need to sign up for this feature.
If you are currently enrolled in Automatic Recurring Payments through our
current vendor (PayClix), your payment will still be processed for the November
15th due date. However, you will need to register with the new vendor to opt in to
future recurring payments.
