​Yard sale permits are required for all sales held within the city limits of Headland. There is no charge for a yard sale permit. Please keep in mind:

• Permit needs to be completed at least 3 days prior to the sale date

• There is a maximum of 3 yard sales that can be approved for one applicant and/or property address per calendar year

• There is a time limit of 6am-6pm

• There is a maximum of 3 days the sale can be conducted

• There are also signage limitations listed in Section 4 of the Ordinance that the applicants need to be made aware of including maximum sign size of 4 sq ft. and no placement on utility poles or public property and right of ways including city street signs and poles
